I too cannot get into Messenger, as of yesterday.
I tried logging in with my ID on a friends PC, but still got the service
unavailable message.  Curiously, his windows messenger account works on his
PC but my passport hotmail account does not.

We have reported the sign-in issues to the server team for those that had
this start happening in the last 24 hours.
I will let you know once I hear back so you all can try again, so we know if
there is more than one issue. At that time I will reply to sign-in issues

cant sign in to messenger  the massege is password incorrect or name
dose not exist ,I can sign in form
messenger web page .did everything nothing works can you help ?

I just bought a Mac and yesterday I installed Messenger for Mac. I had
no problem signing in, but when I clicked on "Mail", the browser seemed
to have problems opening my inbox and it didn't open it. I don't get
any error or anything. If I go to www.hotmail.com and try to log on as

I deledted a contact from my Messnger contact list months ago.  The
contact's icon no longer appears on  my Messenger.  Yet out of the blue
today I suddenly received an instnat message from this same contact.
The message was commenting on the phrase I had typed under my 'status',

I just switched to mac... msn is so different, cant i install the web
cam or use winks or set up the camera for still or use voice... none of
those options seem to exist.. help what have i done

Well, I seem to have a corrupted message...or something. I can't delete one
message in my inbox. Nor can I move it. Or, for that matter, flag it. After
a pause, I get a message 'This action could not be completed. An unknown

I had dicovered that I can't configure my typing font properly,
whenever I choose a type of font together with either one the check
boxes for bold, italic...etc checked it will not display the font that
I had chosen. This problem goes away when I uncheck all the boxes.

I finally managed to get Vista RC1. However cannot share files and folder
with my Mac, I can see and share my WIN XP but not Vista in either direction
(from Mac to Vista and from Vista to Mac)

Hi I am new to iMac.  I have  a power pc g3 400mz 256 megs mem  os version
9.2.2.  Can I upgrade to OS 10  on this machine?  I cant seem to upgrade to
a new browser.  I have internet explorer 5 but thats all and not much will
work.  It also has netscape 4.7 and not much workes on ...
