I've got a big project that should be easy, if the correct script/program is
out there.  We've got a server that's used by both Macs and PC, and we need
to make sure that all the Mac files have the extensions on them for the PC to
read.  I've been looking at MacName, but can't ...

For a time all current messages were at bottom of scroll. Then  messages
arrived scattered everywhere regardless of date. Then (for no apparent
reason) current messages were at top. Now they're scattered again. I have a
Mac. What can I do?

Is it possible to use RDC to connect to a Mac?  XP to 10.4.5?

I am having a problem with Microsoft Messenger for the last several
weeks. When i go to the change display picture window, i cannot open
any of my saved photos. Because of this, I am stuck with only the stock
display pictures and the one i was using when the problem started.

I have just installed Messenger 5.1 onto my Mac and am running LCS2005.  On
logging in successfully with Messenger I can see who is online but on trying
to send them a message I get " The following message could not be
delivered:"

His current display name is: his email address followed by 'email address
not verified'

Does anyone know how a can connect msn through a http proxy, I can only
use http and in msn messenger it doesn't ask for my proxy login and
password.
Any ideas?

Windows XP..  I have audio from Windows Media Player, or CD player or other
media, however I am unable to hear any system type audio (error beeps, new
mail, etc.)  The audio settings are set up to windows defaults.  Anyone with

My problem started with copying a parent folder.when I do so I am

I finally broke down and installed the messenger that came with the copy of
office 2004 for mac I bought.
So, I get it all installed and it give me a screen saying that I must
install the newest version to make it work.
