Hello...new to rdc and loving the possibility of semi ditching my pc.
In my apartment, I have no problem rdc'ing my tiger or panther based
mac machines to my apartment located dell.  However, when I try to rdc
into my dell at work from these same macs in the apartment, it stalls

I have tried to connect to my workstation at work which is running
Windows XP from my Mac at home.  I have followed the directions our
administrator gave me.  When I type in my computer name that I was told
to use, it says "the client could not connect to the remote computer".

I'm new to mac's and i've tried to install messenger 5.0 onto my mac
but each time I restart its nowhere to be seen. the only thing i see is
MESSENGER500.dmg file on my desktop. I have to open that up each time.
Any suggestions? Also, what in the blazzes is a dmg file.

I accidentally launched Messenger on my mac.  I immediately quit the
installation wizard, but now everytime I restart my computer the wizard
reappears.  I don't want to install Messenger.  How can I prevent the

I have a G4 Powerbook.  Every time I open Messenger, I am told that a
newer version for Macintosh is available, so I download it.  How do I
keep this newer version so that I don't have to download it every time?

Since a few days ago we have a problem with one Mac (G4 2x1,2 GHz)
running on Panther (10.3.9). Every time we try to connect with Remote
desktop client 1.0.3 to the terminal server (A-class network, DNS), we
