I wonder if anybody on earth has ever tried to *use* RDC in a context
where the keyboards are not plain US keyboards ?
Would someone have the clue *how* I could possibly type a character
which requires using a modifier key other than Shift ?

I downloaded the latest version 5 for mac.  Still no go.  It tells me
to go to a web site which doesn't download.  What gives?

I am gradually trying to transfer everything I do (computer-wise) from
PC to Mac (iBook G4, "Tiger" OS 10.2.4), with a view to switching off

Lots of people are using it I am sure. But my question is, since I dont
see any visible support for video and/or audio communication, doe sthat
mean I'm gonna be cut off from the rest of the world on a mac island?
all my contacts use MSN Messenger. How will I ever be able to chat ...

Can you use RDC to connect to a Windows PC on a different network over
the public internet even if the remote computer is behind a firewall?
How do you configure this if possible?  Thanks.

Every time I log into mac MSN, my display picture automatically changes to
the "default picture", which happens to be my user picture for mac OSX. Is
there any way of stopping MSN from automatically changing my display picture

but it works fine with mac with 10.3

I am currently experiencing difficulty in binding our new iMacs (system
10.3.8) to the windows 2003 server. The error message which keeps
reoccurring is Insufficient priveleges, even though I am using the
admin password. Please help if you can?

Good day folks.  Just started using Excell spreadsheet and wondering
how do I print the spreadsheet without printing the borders? Borders,

Does anyone know how I can change the resolution on Remote Desktop
Connection?  Under Control Panels, Display, and Setting, the resolution is
locked at 800X600 and the color quality only has Low (8 bit) in the drop
down menu.

I have two win2k-servers with shared folders. The clients are mixed
pc/mac (MacOS9, MacOSX). Last week one of the servers suddenly hanged
and was rebooted. Ever since then, the mac clients have trouble

I have two external hard drives full of files from my apple.  One of them was
formatted on a Windows machine and one was formatted on my Apple.  Both read
OS-X when I look at properties in my apple.  My new Dell running XP does not
recognize either.
