MSN Messenger 4 would automatically reconnect to the MSN network after
reconnecting to the local network or waking from sleep mode.  Microsoft
Messenger 5 appears to require that I manually sign in each time.  Can
I set it to automatically reconnect (as was the case with 4)?

I've been using RDC from Macs to run timetabling and software for about
10 remote computers (about 10 pc's connect to win 2003 server also.)
When I upgraded the timetable software the pc's run fine but the macs
are really slow when certain actions are performed - ie more than 1

I hadn't used MSN for months.  I was on a personl hiatus from MSN.
However a new co-worker kept insisting I turn it on so they could send
me links and files.  I eventually relented but now the only buddy I
have is my new co-worker.  All my old buddies are gone.

I have serveral mac's and and pc's on a network.  The DHCP server is running
on a windows 2000 server.  
Intermittently some of the pc's ( never the same ones) cannot connect to the
network.  If I stop and restart the DHCP service on the pc it will connect

this e-mail just to know where can I get a version of MSN Hotmail Messenger
for my 9.1 Mac.

We have a Windows 2003 server and have AutoCAD 2000i installed on it.
When I connect via RDC from a Windows machine AutoCAD runs fine but
when connecting a Mac via RDC, the screen aperture in the drawing
window does not appear.  When I move the cursor to one of the toolbar

I've tried downloading MSUM for OSX 10.1 or greater. I get an error at
the installation stage: "the preinstall script was either not
executable or not readable".
I've tried downloading again with no success.

For the moment I have an external HD from Iomega. What is the best way to
turn of this HD. I use it twice a month so it is not necessary to leave it
power on every day. Is it safe for the data to just pull out the plug when
I'm finished?

I have put the WMP Plug-in in Internet Plug-Ins under Documents in Home. I
try to play a WMV or WMA on Safari and it opens WMP and plays it on that and
sometimes it says can't be found. How do I get it to run on Safari.

What seems to stick out in this version is the corporate account
facility. Even when you don't have one there is still a tab visible in
the window. How many people would be using that feature? I would think

I am disappointed that the names listed in the buddy list are not the
names I have in Entourage. When I went to check this by seeing if an
online buddy has his IM details in Entourage I discovered he was shown
as offline in Entourage, even though Microsoft Messenger is showing ...

I am currently having trouble connecting my Mac to a Windows 2003 Small

I actually use the corporate tab on the messenger, well if I could.  Anybody
got any clues how I can log into the corporate account when the company only
has windows exchange and not this Live Communications Server thing!  I have
