Any way to share Mac Office docs online - simultaneously?02 Apr 2005 22:08 GMT2
Does anyone know of a solution where you can share Mac Office documents (or
any file, for that matter) online so that two or more people can view and
modify it simultaneously?
Specifically, I have two users that wish to work on the same Excel sheet
Mac logging on to AD issue - ".DS_Store"01 Apr 2005 17:27 GMT1
I've come across a "problem" with the macs logging on to AD: when they
browse through a mapped share (CIFS) on a windows server with Mac
Finder, it generates a ".DS_Store" file in each directory that has
been browsed.  Do you know of a way around this? If not, I'm not aware

RDC & Video Card01 Apr 2005 05:16 GMT1

Microsoft Webmail Question--Mac vs. PC01 Apr 2005 04:27 GMT2
I am clueless about the details of webmail, so perhaps this is a
problem I cannot fix. In any case, I am noticing a massive difference
betwen the Mac and PC versions of webmail where I work. The Mac version
seems to be missing lots of functions, such as the ability to filter
File management stored on a external hard drive01 Apr 2005 03:42 GMT3
I've got an 80GB external hard drive that I used to back up all my PC docs
and files (particularly my entire digital music collection) that I can view
and open using my G$ PowerBook.  The issue is I can't move files and folders
around.  Example, I've got a miscellaneous .mp3 file ...

Any prospects for a better Mac Messenger?01 Apr 2005 03:27 GMT6
I signed all the petitions, but I don't know what the actual chances of
them making a difference. After all, what is Microsoft's incentive?
It's a free product (so they make no money on it) and it is to benefit
a competitor. Why would they spend more money than they have to?
