MSN mail server27 Feb 2005 14:37 GMT1
I have QWEST DSL and the ISP is MSN.  I have no problems with the
service in that it is always there and running but I hate the fact that
I must use the MSN browser to get at my e-mail, and the fact that it
will not integrate with Apple mail, or Address Book, or Entorage.

QuickTime...23 Feb 2005 13:24 GMT1
For some reason QuickTime will not play the full version of my video clips?
It'll only play the first 5-10 seconds of each clip.  I know there is more
in the clips as I've played them on a PC at work and they are definitely
longer than 10 seconds.  Is there a setting somewhere that ...

Can't open .wmv files (Windows media video) on my Macintosh22 Feb 2005 00:43 GMT6
I don't expect an answer here and now. I just want to be steered in the
right direction. There must be a  Microsoft department or division that
can help. Anyway, my immediate problem is that I can't open the
microsoft file I just downloaded. It's Window Media Player 7 for

I am using Entourage for contacts and Word for contracts. I'd like to use
the Entourage database for the legal contacts and another source for a book
subject contact. I'm not sure whether it would be better to create a book
database in Excel or something like FileMaker.

Upgrade OS21 Feb 2005 21:07 GMT1
I updated the operating system from 8.1 to 9.1 on  two Mac systems. The
first worked great with no problems. The second one ran out of room on the
hard drive with about 3 minutes left in the install. I said I wanted to skip
the installation. But when I booted the PC it came up ...
Macintosh Group Folder in AD20 Feb 2005 00:49 GMT1
Is there a way in AD to create a Group shared folder that can have
Macintosh shared services support?
For example to have person "A" to allow both Wndows and Macintosh
users to shared a folder on its PC rather than using a File server?
