   I have a 20gig ipod and 17inch powerbook. My brother just bought a
ibook and i am trying to transfer all the music from my ipod onto his.
Is there any way possible to do that without burning all the music on
dvds and then transferring on his laptop? Everytime i hook my ipod ...

Trying to install virtual pc 5.0 on G5, I get "the extension
VirtualSwitch.kext was installed improperlyand cannot be used." Any
suggestions as to ow to get the switch properly installed in the extensions?

Mine will not boot up anymore. I'm on an OS 9.1 imac. Any suggestions? I
miss it very much....you do not realize how much you use it till it's no

RDC is corrupt and I need to remove it.  It will not allow me to
access the terminal server while my laptop can.  I had this problem
once before and I had to delete some extra files but I've forgotten
which ones.

I'm connecting to my Windows XP computer at work using RDC v1.0.3.
Whenever I print to my HPLJ 3200m at home, I get an extra blank page
with every print job.  This doesn't happen when I print directly from
OS X.  I can't seem to find any settings that would produce a blank

I have been using Frontpage 1.0 for several years and lately it just
started quiting on me. I double click to open it and it immediately
quits.  I have not installed any new software and have no idea what is
going on.

Does anyone know of any third party extensions, plugins or utilities for
Outlook 2001? While it's a dead end as far as MacBU is concerned, for many
users it's a far superior tool in the enterprise to Entourage.

Here's my situation:  One of my organization's users has a fairly new Mac
(OS 10.3, I think) running IE 5.2.  This is her home computer.  She's on a

I just got an Emac to replace my aging iMac DV.  I will be (hopefully)
transferring files/ preferences/apps from one to the other.  I know that
Apple has a helper application that will do this for me, if I connect both
computers via firewire.  Is there anything I need to know about ...

We're getting DSL in november, and MSN comes included with it. Does
anyone know if I can still use my MSN name and account on my Mac? I
don't really need it, but I just wanted to know if I can or not.

I need to migrate VPC 6 to a new Mac but can't use firewire target mode. I
can reinstall VPC 6 on the new Mac but I don't know how to move the
underlying PC apps and related files created under VPC 6. Can anyone help?

Hi all -  does anyone have experience (or mis-experiences) with OSX
Office apps connecting/contributing/interacting with others on a
primarily WIN server network. We run SHAREPOINT server on Windows
Enterprise Server 2003
