Where do I go for the process to connect a Mac user w/ Outlook to Exchange. I have newly installed the Exchange and know little about it or the Mac. Advice is welcome!!!

I have a problem because I only have a machine that will run MacOS 9.1. Microsoft has started blocking third party clients from the Messenger network, as they are freely entitled to do, but they have also blocked early versions of their own client.

I want to use IM 4.0 to chat with co-workers who use IM 5 for Windows, but the 4.0 doesn't allow me to see corporate contacts. It only sees passport emails. Does anyone know how to use corporate emails or IM 5 contacts using IM 4.0 for the Mac?
