Hi, I just bought my daughter a used powerbook that has 8.6 on it. I am trying to download msn messenger for her to use on it, but all I can find is for 9.0 or better. I see that updated 2.1, but can't I still get it? Anyone

I have been reading about several problems like this recently that previously working installs all of a suddon stop working. this has also happened to me and it seems like the last round of critical updates is the cause.

This has been an issue for some time, but really need a resolution. We have several mac's connecting to an IOMEGA NAS When they delete files and empty trash, next time they attach to the server (Win 2003) the files reappear.

I just downloaded the OS 9.2.2 version from the Mactopia site and compared it to the version Israel Marin kindly tracked down. They appear to be the same, i.e. 2.5.1. So I think it's just a case of the Mactopia page being well out-of-date (it says last updated August 2003

I just successfully signed in to MSN Messennger 2.5 w/ Classic 9.2.2. I like the interface on Mac Messenger, but abhor the instability it has caused. Two or three crashes a day where I used to crash only once or twice a week...

Anyone been able to get a screen res better than 800X600 and 16bit? That size is not very usefull. If I remote desktop with a PC I can get up to the res of the client I'm using.
