Replacement parts for my old PowerBook G3?30 Apr 2004 16:03 GMT2
I have a perfectly good - but slow, ancient, and not really supported,
Macintosh PowerBook G3 from around 2000.  It's neither fast enough nor
powerful enough to run OS-X efficiently, but it still works well with System
9.2, and I'm reluctant to get rid of it yet.

Hello, since upgrading from Mac system 9 to 9.1, I¹ve noticed that the up
and down arrows on window scrollbars appear at the top and bottom of the
scrollbar.  Both arrows used to appear at the bottom of th scrollbar, making

I have a new iMac and while playing with iTunes 4, I set it to be the
default player for internet audio. It doesn't work with the sites I visit,
and I want to undo iTunes and replace it with Real Player. I can find no
place where this can be done. Any help?

I've got a Win2K server running SFM and it has 2 NICs. I'm trying to set it
up so that AppleTalk connections are only possible on one of the NICs. I've

Does anyone seen this or run across this situation, I have Outlook 2001 for
MAC for Exchange 5.5 sp4, when people send me a meeting request, it does not
allow me to accept the meeting.  When I click on the Accept button nothing
happen but I can click the Decline button.  Thanks

I have a G3 B&W running OSX Jaguar and a PC running XP Pro with an EPSON C60
attached via USB. Is there a simple solution to access that printer from the

A lot to ask but any ideas for complicated situation, as follows:
- Old MiniTower Mac w/OS 9.1 running full copy of Connectix VPC v.3
& W98SE (came on same installation disk from Connectix)
- New iMac w/OS 10.3x; new (full copy) VPC 6.1; new UPGRADE

Hi all, I've heard of many complaints from human rights groups about the way
gmail would "scan" through our emails' contents. Now, doesn't that happen
anyway? Are we so blue-eyed as to believe NO ONE scans them? At least by
acknowledging it they will also provide a service to us... ...

on which we would like to run an educational cdrom fo the children.
What we would like to do is that setup the emac in a room where the
children can enter the cdrom in a way that they can only run this cd
