A friend gave me what appears to be a precursor to an Airport Express
(the receipt is dated (2000).  At first it showed up on my MacBook but I
couldn't access it.  Now it does not even show up.  I'm thinking it's
not worth the trouble messing with it; I might as well buy something

What is it and should I install it on my Mac?   I've been asked to and looked
at some stuff online yet haven't quite got a clue to what it's all about...

published on July 1, 2010, but you can buy it now in e-Book format for $15.  
I know of many people who would pay that money now for an ebook rather than
wait until July to buy the hardback, even if they could ...
