Is there a way to disable the Javascript pop-up search menus that have become so popular lately without disabling Javascript entirely? They just annoy me. I use Firefox 1.5.0.11. Thanks.

I need to pick up a cheap USB 56k dial up modem for a B&W G3 for a quick immediate project. Must work with both OS 9 and OS X. There are a few on ebay right now, but of course not listed as Mac compatable. Does anyone here have an idea about whether they will work or not?

I use a filter to exclude a folder named " catalogs": set folderList to (sort (every folder of A whose name is not " catalogs") by name) This works fine and " catalogs" in not included in folderList.

Prior to downsizing house, had wife's G3 iBook, my G5 iMac PPC, HP Laserjet all working internet (Telewest, now Virgin, modem) and printing via Linksys cable router, with the iBook in the study, working via ethernet cable through wall to the Linksys in the computer room.
