MT-NW Regular Expression Filtering29 Jan 2008 16:09 GMT14
The MI5 idiot used to be pretty easy to filter out.  Nearly all of his
posts could be killed by matching simple filters like:
    "from" contains "MI5Victim@mi5.gov.uk"
    "subject" contains "MI5 Persecution"

Question about G4 400 modem init string and modem volume26 Jan 2008 03:21 GMT1
As many of you know, the ability to dial from within applications was
lost when OS X was released. I suppose Apple thought that using Internet
Connect via Applescript would suffice, but they broke that in OS 10.3.
I have a small Filemaker contact database that I works well to dial ...
Cisco VPNClient crashing your Mac again21 Jan 2008 23:37 GMT4
The MacOS 10.5.1 update seems to have included bugs related to
networking performance.  When 10.5.1 and Cisco's VPNClient 4.9.01 (100)
are combined, the problem can become fatal.  The first symptom is that
the Network control panel can not set the TCP MTU.  It remains stuck at
Sharing a Time Warner internet connection09 Jan 2008 02:57 GMT1

Easy way to see what ports are most commonly used?06 Jan 2008 20:16 GMT2
I'm setting up QoS on my router and I'd like to shape the most active
used ports. Is there built into OSX (I'm on 10.5.1) an easy way to keep
a record of what ports are used and how frequently/how much over a set
time period? Or a nice third part app? It will not be used often so ...

Safari05 Jan 2008 11:16 GMT21
Kinda OT, but Safari 3.0 will require Leopard to run.  It will also run
on Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Have Apple programmers even HEARD of timeouts?01 Jan 2008 22:34 GMT38
I'm transferring a file from a remote iDisk folder to my Mac. The
download slows down to nothing. It stays that way. Permanently. No
timeout. EVER. To add insult to injury the cancel icon next to the
progress bar does nothing. Clearly Apple is just f.cking with me (ok,
