I'm setting up a VNC connection over the Internet and I'm considering different options for how to make the connection securely. For the VNC server, I'm just using the built in Remote Desktop server that comes with OSX Tiger.

I have port forwarding set up on my router to allow me to login to my Mac from work. When I came home from a vacation, I discovered that my router had assigned the address that usually goes to my Mac to another device.

Hi, I have a Mac OS X Server 10.4.9 with open directory and active directory. Mac Os clients can log on to the Open directory domain, no problem there, but win XP clients cannot log on to the Active Directory

Is it possible to get attachments to show up in the header of an email instead of the body of the email in mac mail. Operating system is OS X. Thanks for any insight.

I got my Airport Express today. I plugged my DSL cable into the Airport Express. I got all green lights. I installed the software from the CD. I ran Airport Setup Assistant. It said I'm connected to the network.

My internet service provider, in order to "add services" to its e-mail system, has decided to contract its services to gmail in order to "increase service offerings". Using this system, the e-mail address becomes <username>@<domain-name>.net
