I have just returned to England having spent a few days at Xmas in
Ireland setting up a new 24" screen Intel iMac (OS 10.4.7) for my
octogenarian mother (she has eight legs).
A very major problem I've encountered is with the dial-up internet

I have a fast G4 Mac running OS 10.4.8. I can connect simultaneously to
two routers, one via built-in ethernet and the other via AirPort.* Each
router is connected to the Internet, through a different ISP. I can
connect to the Internet through either one, switching between them

Apple's APE (AirPort Extreme) doesn't support anything above the
run-of-the-mill 802.11g (54 Mbps), does it?
If so, Apple needs to pull itself together. Most PC products today

I'm looking fo an SNMP application for OSX. (I'm not sure whether
calling it a client is correct, I need it to configure a switch.) I
didn't find anything on the net, but I think something must exist.

I just acquired an LG PM225 cell phone (Sprint) and want to know if
there is an easy way to transfer contacts from my Mac to it. The phone
requires a special USB cable; the phone end plug seems to be
proprietary.

I can enable/disable my PC connection to the LAN throught the Local
Network Connection without physically unplugging the RJ45 cable.

command "ipconfig /all" or is all the same information available on the
Network / TCP/IP tab?

Ok..so my iBook G4 has an airport card in it and an ethernet port.  My
house is setup for wireless and my desktop doesn't have wireless... Is
there anyway I can hook up my ibook to act as a router to get internet

I am a Network Specialist and very profficient with wireless networks.
I've set up / configured a great number of them but with PCs only. I
have a new customer however, that wants a small, home wireless network.
He has 2 PCs and a Mac. I am a complete beginner with the Mac!

I have an HP laserjet 3330.  I have 4 machines on a network, 2 mac
desktops and 2 wintel laptops.  I currently utilize a Belkin usb device
to allow each machine access to the laserjet.  I'd like to explore the
