Living in a rural area, my ISP having given up on expanding DSL
services, offered a high speed satellite solution.
A little more pricey and slower than regular high-speed, but a
necessity, especially if you have many children using the internet

I have three Macs on a wireless LAN behind a Linksys WRT54GL router; two
are laptops with integral WiFi support, and one is an early 800MHz
flat-screen iMac without an Airport card which is connected to a Linksys
