I got this Konfabulator widget that shows me my "public facing IP"
number -- and it's always the same. I double checked web logs I have
access to -- always the same number. The ISP (Cable) says in their FAQs
that the IP numbers are changing and cite security as an advantage...

Cannot seem to make it work even using a router (or not) with router
both sides can see, but not share. Neither machine sees the other.
I followed the instructions in the help file Tiger.2.
Trying to share access from iBook to G5 iMac, from airport to ethernet.

Ok, normally I can work my way through these problems but this one has
got me stumped. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I have an Airport Extreme base station connected to my cable internet.
Has been working fine for a few years and nothing has changed there.
