| Turn airport on automatically at boot? | 15 Aug 2005 03:05 GMT | 12 |
I'm happy with the wireless networking on my Mac Mini, except for one little problem. I have to click "Turn airport on" and then select my preferred network before I can connect to the network. I'd like to operate this as a headless box - so I'd like it to connect

| REQ: Help with "radio tuning service" error in iTunes | 13 Aug 2005 17:36 GMT | 1 |
Here's a slightly weird iTunes/network problem, which I suspect may be DNS-related. I haven't tried the built-in iTunes radio stations in several months, but in the past they worked just fine for me.

Received Tiger in the mail today and because I don't have a dvd burner in my iBook I'll have to use their exchange program to get the OS in cds. I find this a bit stuffy on Apples part as they're charging for the swap. Why on earth wasn't this an option when the program is ...

| Do .Mac iCards Increase Spam? | 08 Aug 2005 05:04 GMT | 1 |
I have always assumed that entering (real) email addresses into the [send this article to a friend] or [announce your new website] function on a website invites added spam to those addresses. Is this assumption correct? Now I wonder if the liability of using these functions ...

| Should I (and can I) use NFS rather than Apple File Sharing to access files from home? | 04 Aug 2005 04:20 GMT | 3 |
I'm still fighting slow access when mounting my office G5's hard drive onto the desktop of my laptop at home (cablemodem connection). I'm told that apple file sharing is not efficient over the internet; how about NFS - does Panther offer NFS, and if so, should I be using that? Any ...
