Internet / Intranet DNS09 Jun 2005 19:36 GMT4
I'm running a simple web server using OS X (not OS X Server) and
Apache.  Everything works great.  Have a static IP from my web
provider, got the ports to forward correctly to the Apache machine,
using DynDNS's Custom DNS to handle the internet DNS, and everything
Tiger causing Airtunes stutter?09 Jun 2005 04:18 GMT6
I just upgraded to Tiger and have many more stutters when using
Airtunes to play music on my stereo. Anyone else have this problem or,
better, a solution?
Also, an ongoing problem (not new since the Tiger upgrade): iTunes
Mac-to-Mac VPN?08 Jun 2005 20:19 GMT16
Years ago, I set up a Mac network (under OS9) with a VPN router and some

Lan Happiness??08 Jun 2005 04:45 GMT5
I just got DHCP up on my Linux box. When I borrowed someone's laptop
(running linux + windows xp), the DHCP worked fine. On my old Mac OS

address from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.150 to

for OSX?
Halime06 Jun 2005 15:46 GMT2
I love Halime's look and ease of reading threads in order with GTV view
but I can't stop it from crashing.  Someone must be working on this
problem or am I just being hopeful?
Non-breaking URLs in Mail.app06 Jun 2005 01:12 GMT9
Believe it or not, this posting is being composed on an old PowerMac 9600
using Netscape 4.0.8. But, for some reason, this old version of NS seems to be
able to do with email what Mail.app _cannot_, running on my g4 with 10.3.9.
I've only begun using Mail a little, still doing 99 ...

Extend Safari Safe File List03 Jun 2005 01:53 GMT1
Has anybody found a way to extend Safari's "Safe File" somewhere.
Setting the system MIME settings via IE or "More Internet Settings" Pref
