We have previously had 2 Mac OS9 PC's installed and now have 2 cool looking new Mac OS 10.3.9 PC's installed on a Windows 2003 Server domain. All the files are saved to a dedicated hard drive for storage and backup.

I am trying to figure out how to communicate from a Mac to a PC or vice-versa. Currently the Mac is 10.3.9 but I also have to do it from/to 10.3.9 Server. The PC is XP Pro with all upgrades and standalone, i.e. no trees, no forest.

I've been trying to set up a mail server, but my success has been somewhat limited. After following the guides from the Apple site, I've been able to create accounts that could successfully connect via IMAP (so I could download mail to my machine at home).
