An iMac G5 won't connect to a Linksys WRT54G, even at half a meter away, unless the iMac's option "Use Interference Robustness" (under the Airport menu) is enabled. But with that opton on, and the Linksys at its planned 10 meters distance, the reception gets bad - the Airport ...

I'm considering installing openvpn, but from what I gather from various random web sites, this requires a third-party kernel extension for the 'tun' and/or 'tap' devices that isn't yet available for Tiger. Is that correct?

Years, decades it seems (can it really have been that long?) and _still_ Eudora is useless for reading mailing lists. Question - how many years more will it be before a modern email client that threads email properly, appears for MacOS (or _any_ GUI OS)?

I cannot access the Web-based configuration menu on my D-Link DI-624+ wireless router...I have tried IE 5.2, FFox 1.0.3, Opera 6, NScape 7.2 + few other browser. Once I managed to access it with Firefox, but suddenly DI-624+ stopped responding. I am on Mac OSX 10.3.9.
