| Splitting up digests | 08 Jan 2005 17:19 GMT | 1 |
Is there a plug-in for Mail.app that will split digests into their component messages? I've subscribed to a mailing list that's sent out as digests, and it would be nice if I could see the individual messages more easily.

| Per-user proxy settings? | 07 Jan 2005 05:35 GMT | 3 |
I'm trying to set up Privoxy on my home network to filter web access for my kids. It's mostly pretty easy: set up Privoxy to allow only specific URLs (my kids are pretty young as of yet), tell it to accept proxy connections from anywhere on my network (it's behind a NAT box so I

| Is my Router all I need for Firewall protection? | 05 Jan 2005 11:20 GMT | 7 |
I've had cable modem for five months now and its great of course. I'm under the impression that the cable modem acts as a firewall and it's all I need. Also the Router acts as a firewall and its all I need. Also, that it may not be good to have two firewalls.

| Azureus help | 04 Jan 2005 17:28 GMT | 2 |
I just downloaded the Java bitTorrest client Azureus <http://azureus.sourceforge.net/> During setup it recommends using TCP port 6881 & it lets you test the port -- when I did I got 'NAT error.' Since my cable internet connection is otherwise fine, I assume that my

My machine (a new G4 PowerBook running OS X 10.3.7, software up-to-date) just crashed - a full-on hang, with the little grey 'press your power button' message popping up. What induced this was a bluetooth transaction: another machine, running
