I am running OSX 10.3.6 and I need to get into my office network from
home. I have the VPN client from Cisco (given to me by the IT guy) and
when I log in I am able to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop client for
the Mac and everyting is great. The problem is when I am logged in via

a)    a G4 ethernet cable-connected to a 'Speedtouch' router/modem
b)    an Airport Extreme similarly cable-connected to the router/modem
c)    an Airport enabled G4 iBook

I have three Airport Graphite base stations, two of which are now
faulty.  Neither is displaying the well documented capacitor /
temperature failure.  Does anyone know where the failure modes (and

This is so strange. I have a G4 desktop with OS 10.3.6 hooked up with
a Windows XP laptop at home over an ethernet network. I've never had a
problem before. Yesterday, I was surfing on both computers no problem.

I'm running an iBook G4 with an AirPort Extreme card. My DSL connection is
through a Linksys 802.11g wireless router. The router is upstairs in a two-story
home, I spend most of my time downstairs.
