I've recently encountered some pop-ups that Safari seems unable to block.
Just got one a short while ago while using "wunderground.com". It appeared in
the upper-right corner of Safari's window, in front of the window.

Just lately every time I use Safari to go to an URL outside the current
domain I get a dialog saying the relevant website could not be found. If
I click OK and then press return to retry the highlighted URL in the
address bar, it works fine. My ISP's DNS evidently is working OK as

I'm considering switching from comcast to earthlink dsl, and was

Hi.  I was recently browsing in a Google Group with my mac when the
website would not allow me to continue on to the next page.  Instead,
a message appeared stating that it would not let me proceed because it
