We have Xinet running on a Sun file server, very successfully thus
far, but recently we found that file transfers (both directions) have
been very slow -- on the order of 100 times slower than other methods.
Example:  Same server, same *file*, same network spigot, transfer rate

I have a 17" 1.5Mhz Powerbook and an older (white) airport base
station that wasn't used since I got it new. I tried to use it and the
message on my PB was that "there was a problem entering network
clow" (Clow was the name of the network I originally populated it with).

I've recently experienced an unusual problem with ssh (openssh) on both
of my OS X machines (G4 iMac and G4 PowerBook).  I recently applied an
Apple Security Update and also an upgrade to openssh by way of fink.  
The problem occurs whether I use the fink version or the Apple ...

I keep getting this error message:  "There was an error joining the
AirPort network..."
I have to keep trying, and trying, and *then* the computer (OSX 10.3.6)

I am setting up a small business; it will have a total of 4 people. As

I am trying to setup a Belkin PCMCIA card in a Firewire G3 PowerBook
with no luck. The card works fire in the previous model, i.e. the
non-firewire version of the G3 PowerBook. The computer refuses to
