I've got a 2.5 GB file on a MacOS 9 machine and I want to copy it to a MacOS 10 machine. I tried mounting one machine's disk on the other, but I cannot copy files larger than 2GB that way. What else can I try? Mark Geary

Modem jsut quit. Phone line OK, get dial tone. When I try to connect, no dial tone heard, no dialing tones. Error dialog says "A modem error occurred." In the past, when phone line was bad, etc., error was "Can't detect dial tone" (or such wording).
