| Odd font size | 30 Jun 2004 14:46 GMT | 3 |
Occasionally, when I am using MT-Newswatcher, I find a message that is in a very small font size. I've looked in the preferences but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the size of the messages to something that I can read. How do I fix this problem whenever it happens?

I hope that this newsgroup is the appropriate one to ask this question. With the so many applications to download mp3s, I am rather confused which is best. A friend suggested that I should look at Acquisition and Poisoned. Can people give me an evaluation of these two programs? ...

| How safe is unencrypted WiFi? | 28 Jun 2004 10:44 GMT | 28 |
The local public library is promoting their new free WiFi hotspot, but it's not using WPA or even WEP. Just select their SSID, and you're in. Apparently their intention was make the network as simple as possible to use, but the lack of encryption has me wary. Isn't that ...

| Modems are crap | 26 Jun 2004 21:43 GMT | 20 |
Being used to DSL at home, I am reminded again as I travel how pathetic modems are. I don't mean bandwidth, although compared to my 1.5 Mb line at home a piddling 56K is real hard to adjust to. I mean the way they throw in the

| How to remove FAXstf | 24 Jun 2004 13:03 GMT | 3 |
I had an old version of the freebie FAXstf X which I have recently upgraded to the latest freebie version. Thing is, I think I might be better off with Panther's built-in FAXing capability. The trouble is that I *think* that FAXstf installer actually
