When trying to install OS 9 the install process freezes with 8 minutes to Go, and when trying to install OSX it comes up with a message saying I need to restart. The message does not say why but I discovered it is caused by a kernel panic.

I got hold of Leopard installation DVD and managed to install Leopard on an external USB Harddrive for a Lenovo T60. The only problem is can't get it to access the LAN port? I noticed the link light on the port doesn't even come up. Could this be because it

I must apologise here, for I'm certain this is a real dummie question, but ... I bit the white bullet and bought a 1yr old MacBook. It's in nice condition, but carries a feeble 512MB of RAM, which is OK for Tiger,
