Australians will pay $1000 more than their US counterparts for the newly
introduced Apple MacBook Air.

For the past couple of days many of my incoming emails have been
infected with messages such as....
"The Lily Pond: MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from
"email.jacquielawson.com" claiming to be http://www.jacquielawson.com"
MacMini startup and shutdown problem17 Jan 2008 08:03 GMT4
I have a MacMini (OSX.4.11) that has decided it won't turn itself off
fully without my pressing the button at the back after it has shut
itself down (i.e., the light on the front has gone off). Additionally, I
have it set to turn itself on at 8:00 am on weekdays and it now doesn't

Adding sounds13 Jan 2008 21:35 GMT3
Under Sys 9 it was easy - you could move sounds in and out of the Sound
Effects areas (now under Sys Prefs in OSX) - but I would like to import

me if it's possible and if so, how?

like DVDRemaster to bring it back to a length short enough to fit the
Re G4 Disk Full04 Jan 2008 22:51 GMT1
You can do this by using the disk utility in OSX and image the
10GB drive to the 20GB drive.  You will then be able to use the 10GB
as a spare for backups etc.
Select Go-Utilities-disk utility.
Where to buy: 10.4 v 10.5 issue04 Jan 2008 11:50 GMT10
Some outlets have MacBookPros with 10.4, the Apple Store has 10.5. Does
anyone have any opinions about
* benefits of a 10.5 factory install compared to an upgrade disc or a full
 retail disc
Recovering lost disk space04 Jan 2008 06:12 GMT1
My iMac hard disk (500 GB) has recently been almost filled and I don't
really know why.
I first noticed the iDisk on the desk top indicating that I had a
massive amount of free space (800 plus GB rather than a total of 10GB)
G4 Disk full01 Jan 2008 10:37 GMT3
I have a Powemac G4 which came with a 10 gig hard drive.
It has OSX 10.4 and Classic installed. The disk is full and I
can't see any large files I can delete to free up space.
I added a 20 gig hard drive as slave on the same controller
