Usb 2 or firewire....30 Sep 2007 23:24 GMT1
I have a 320 GB USB2 HD  and one 160gb firewire HD
The thing is , the 160gb HD (firewire) is out of space
I have transferred all the files to USB 2 one
Just wondering, will the USB2 one be a safe bet for all my stuff?
Cross[ad]Dressing Question26 Sep 2007 06:55 GMT15
I want to edit the code for a webpage I've downloaded, and send the
whole package to a Windozer. Will Win-zip (or whatever it's called)
open (restore) something (like a folder of code and a couple of jpgs)
zipped on a Mac?
WTB Dreamweaver23 Sep 2007 00:03 GMT2
Just thought I'd ask if anyone had a copy of Deamweaver they wish to
sell.
Not looking for the latest and greatest, but do need a copy that will
run on my new iMac (I think if it runs on OSX it will be OK)
Grey printing on HP P201521 Sep 2007 08:43 GMT1
I am working at a place which has a HP Laserjet P2015n, a low-end laser
printer. Whenever I print something, all the blacks come out as a mid-grey.
Even dark colours come out as mid-grey.
As far as I can tell from looking at it in Windows, this is not a postscript

I have a newish Mac OSX and an oldish Mac OS9, and a router that used
to network them. But now since I changed to 10.4.10 it doesn't
work.
Is there some VNC-type trick I can do? I want the OS9 Mac permanently

Emulate right click?08 Sep 2007 03:32 GMT17
A Mighty Mouse came with my new MacPro (3 gHz quad duo and running
spectacularly well!) but one thing I miss about the old mouse was its
right click (the el cheapo but quite satisfactory Microsoft mouse died
the other day - not quite sure why, but that's another story....)
Mind boggler07 Sep 2007 02:42 GMT2
I don't know just how relevant this is to most people, but at the moment
I am running two pretty good computers - a MacPro and a MacMini. The
latter has been my workhorse for 1-2 years, and it has all my programs
and many files on it. The MacPro I use for the jobs that need lots of
Replacing HD and CDROM - iMac G307 Sep 2007 00:39 GMT2
We have an iMac G3 500 512MB which runs really well. However the HD is
almost full and the CDROM drive is past it.
Has anyone here replaced the drives in a similar unit and happy to
share their tale? I'm keen to do  this but I want it to work as well!
Project management/time tracking software for Mac>06 Sep 2007 02:26 GMT2
I have a client who runs an upmarket landscaping business. There are a number
of staff involved in the design and execution of the projects.
To date, they haven't really been tracking the time spent on the projects.
This is a problem because they base their fee on an estimate of ...
Which is the best USB TV tuner (digital and/or analog)05 Sep 2007 02:20 GMT6
One the items I need for my new Intel iMac is a USB tuner so I can watch TV.
I will probably need both Digital and Analog units - not sure if there is
one that does both so may have to buy one of each as there are still many
places where there is no or limited digital (where I now ...
clean reinstall prceedure01 Sep 2007 02:51 GMT4
I suppose this has been asked several times in the past, but I can't
easily find an answer on the apple site.
My kids use an eMac 1.25GHz running 10.4.10. It's having all sorts of
problems so I'd like to reinstall Tiger and then update to the latest
