New 20" iMac running 10.4

I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook. I want to boot to Winows XP. There's
some programs that won't run in their OS, not to mention I can't afford
spending thousands in more software again. Can use the MacBook like a PC?

I do like the new finder, and if you look at the apple web site closely
you can see visual updates to QT and various other stuff too.

Just wondering can I install safari on a 10.4.9 system?
