A friend wants to protect her very young daughter from some of the nastiness
on the Internet. At the same time, she wants to encourage her to build her
skills in using computers and the Internet.
I have had a look at Apple's parental controls and find them a little wanting.

Can anyone recommend a USB 2.0 PCI Card for a G4 PowerMac (Sawtooth)
that's available in Australia at a reasonable price.
A lot of the guys over at 'comp.mac.sys.system' recommend the IOGear GIC251U,
the problem is I cannot find this card on any online store in

I've just bought a new iMac and now need to move my daughters iTunes
library from the PC to the Mac. Is there an easy way? Can I just copy
the PC's iTunes directory the Mac?

As per subject. Running a 400mhz G4 512 Mb Ram OS 10.3.9. I have seen
Popcorn 2 out for $88. but the specs on the box say for it's minimum
requirements are for Tiger.
Unless someone has a better way of compressing DVDs to fit a standard

OK. I have enough money for the cheaper type of whatever they call the
Maclaptop now (i.e. about $1750).
BUT I've read horror stories of the new MacBooks. e.g.
