When I bought my eMac in '04 I was asking this same question... and now that my house has been broken into, and my Sony PC104E handcam stolen, I'm back again... How can I hook up my VCR to my eMac?

I have been trying to put a fresh coy of OS 9.2 on a second HD Using my g4 install disks 9.02 then a 9.1 from the apple site and selecting Australia in country choice, when I try and load 9.2.1 I get a dialogue box Which says

Has anyone had any experience with running both OSX and Windows XP on either of the two new MacBook models? It looks like that's where I might be headed in the near future... and perhaps a core duo mini or even an iMac to replace my other half's XP box.

As per subject. I want to get all my records onto CD. So I want to know what hardware and software I'm going to need to pull this off. I have a 600 Mhz iMac and a 400 Mhz G4 tower. I suspect I'll be using the tower. I prefer OS 9, but will work with Panther depending on what I need.

I get sent PC user PP slides that require ActiveX (it says, whatever that is). But my PP for Mac does not respond and neither do the slides. Any ideas as to what can be done very welcome.
