Maxtor OneTouch Manager doesn't work20 Apr 2006 12:50 GMT12
I bought a Maxtor OneTouch III Turbo Edition (600GB model) yesterday.
It comes preset to RAID0 mode but I want to use it in RAID1, so I
fired up the Maxtor software to try and change it. Problem is, the
list of drives in the bottom right of the Manager software comes

I have 10.3.9 running and using Entourage as my Email program.
Lately I have noticed that when I get on to my N/Gs that some .jpg pics are

For several days now about half my email has been notifications from
postmasters that 'my' emails have been returned undelivered. The emails
contain a gif which is some sort of stock market report that I'm sure
most of you will have received from time to time. On the face of it, my

I am planning on travelling for a fair while (a year or two), and am

I note though that Bigpond allows you to use the CDMA system only with
Broadband in Brisbane17 Apr 2006 10:53 GMT6
I'm looking to change to broadband now that the daughter has discovered the joys of

from Optus, and it has been pretty good so far.
optusdirect and dial-up16 Apr 2006 16:20 GMT2
Since January, we have had terrible problems with our dialup connection
dropping out. After having the phone line checked three times, I
mentioned to the technician that our troubles seem to have started when
in January Optus changed us over to some super new Optusdirect service.

Laser printer paper crumpling13 Apr 2006 17:01 GMT2
I have an old Apple LaserWriter Pro, vintage 1993. It's slow, but still
produces crisp and clear prints.
However, it does have a paper feed problem. The paper ends up all
crumpled usually just before it comes out of the printer. It seems as
