I bought a Maxtor OneTouch III Turbo Edition (600GB model) yesterday. It comes preset to RAID0 mode but I want to use it in RAID1, so I fired up the Maxtor software to try and change it. Problem is, the list of drives in the bottom right of the Manager software comes

For several days now about half my email has been notifications from postmasters that 'my' emails have been returned undelivered. The emails contain a gif which is some sort of stock market report that I'm sure most of you will have received from time to time. On the face of it, my

I am planning on travelling for a fair while (a year or two), and am looking for a way to maintain Internet access, with the view that VOIP will give me constant phone access at a low cost. I note though that Bigpond allows you to use the CDMA system only with

| Broadband in Brisbane | 17 Apr 2006 10:53 GMT | 6 |
I'm looking to change to broadband now that the daughter has discovered the joys of the iTunes music store. I currently have one of those phone/dial-up internet plans with the free local calls from Optus, and it has been pretty good so far.

| optusdirect and dial-up | 16 Apr 2006 16:20 GMT | 2 |
Since January, we have had terrible problems with our dialup connection dropping out. After having the phone line checked three times, I mentioned to the technician that our troubles seem to have started when in January Optus changed us over to some super new Optusdirect service.
