Hope I'm posting this in the right newsgroup, if not please excuse.
After importing a few CD's into iTunes (on both Mac and PC)
and copying the mp3 files to my flash based mp3 player (non-iPod),
I noticed the mp3 player doesn't display the id3 tags.

Anyone else had trouble with the accuracy of bluetooth mice on their
PowerBooks?
I've tried three different Bluetooth mice with my 1GHz 12" pBook, all
with the same very inaccurate results. Fast movements (eg, trying to get

the Mac to monitor all d/ls?
I have a 12GB d/l  limit and yes I have been d/l & u/l but used 12GB?
Are uploads counted?

There's a thread that started last month regarding external enclosures which seems to have
run it's course, so I thought it best to start a new thread regarding external enclosures.
I am in the process of buying a 5.25" external enclosure so I can add a CD-RW to my
G3 iMac via ...

Anyone else here using an intel iMac ?
I find that every now and then the keyboard stops responding, or that
some keys (volume and eject) stop responding. Fix is to un-plug and
re-attach the keyboard.

I still have the old Motorola cable modem Big Pond Cable supplied when they
set me up.  Since BPC changed something in their network, and supplied me
with a new Motorola SURFboard, the old one lies unused. Is it landfill or
does someone have a use for these things?

Gonna upgrade to Core Duo, so the old one have to go..

I'm looking for some sort of software that will automatically discover
the links on a web page and then download the text on the linked pages,
either to a single text file or to multiple text files.
Any ideas?

I'm looking to get a webcam to use with iChat but I don't want to pay
for iSight. Anybody have any recommendations from first-hand experience?
Regular USB webcam type quality is acceptable. I have a G4 450 with USB
2.0 and 10.4.

I have a Powermac 7300 that is networked with a PC via an ethernet cable.
I use Fetch to transfer files to and from the PC.  Recently I replaced the
motherboard on the PC and have reinstalled all the software (as you do).
The problem is I cannot remember how to get the PC to share ...

I just put in a new Toshiba 60 G drive and I then tried to install OS
X. I get to the question of "preferred device" for the installation and
there are no devices in the window. Do I need to do something else
first before I install the operating system?
