New Provider - old email address16 Aug 2005 07:52 GMT5
My sister wants to change ISP from BigPond to TPG.
The only concern she has is that all her business records have Bigpond

one of the faster G3 towers. I'm in Brisbane, as is he also, and am posting this as
a favour for him.

Free: (PERTH) Dead-ish iMac G3 50015 Aug 2005 14:38 GMT6
I have an old iMac G3 500 that I've taken the hard drive and RAM out of.
There were some strange video problems (which didn't appear when I
connected an external monitor up to it) so I went in and had a look at
the board directly under the CRT (power board?). There were some bad
Longhorn13 Aug 2005 15:36 GMT10
I notice that the new Windows replacing XP will be called Vista. No

Quality Audio into Mac10 Aug 2005 14:00 GMT15
Can anybody tell me an inexpensive (if such a thing exists on a Mac) way
of getting good quality mic input into a DP G4 Mac?
I got iMic but the quality is appalling with heaps of noise and very low
levels. Using a powered mic helps quite a bit but it's still pretty

exactly?
Tnx.

I have edited a movie which runs about 59 minutes. When I try to burn it
on a LaCie firewire burner, Toast tells me it is too big for a single
layer dvd.
Any help would be appreciated

Apple Powerbook RAM slot problem04 Aug 2005 01:17 GMT1
Apparently there is an issue with the Apple Powerbooks second RAM slot being
defective. This appears to be a persistent problem that can recur after
"fixing" and may be a result of issues with both the operating system and
hardware. If you check out
