Buying a mac mini in Singapore31 May 2005 23:56 GMT8
My parents are moving overseas for a few years and are going through
Singapore on their way out. They're wondering whether it makes sense to
pick up a Mac Mini while they are there, or if the price isn't any
better than here. Would there be any differences in the product

Moving Tiger's Users directory31 May 2005 12:32 GMT1
Anyone tried shifting their Tiger /Users directory off their boot
partition? I did it in Panther and the arrangement works well for me, I
just can't find anyone's experience of doing it on Tiger.
I can probably nut it out for myself, but I won't if I don't have to.

My employer subscrives to a MSDN-type thingy where they gets lots of
software, including Office for Mac and Virtual PC products.
They don't use them - they have no macs - can I use them at home?  or sell
them?

I have a Mac running 10.3.9  and wondering is it possible to "right click"
and  a "show view options" can appear.
I am using a MS mouse and instead of going to the menu bar on top to get the
"view options", right click instead and it is in the menu.

Safari suddenly slow27 May 2005 05:05 GMT1
I am using Safari 1.3 on a G4 iBook with 512MB RAM running under OSX 10.3.9
Over the last couple of days it has suddenly slowed down; HORRIBLY. Now
even MSIE loads a page faster than it does.
I amaware that the 10.3.9 upgrade was causing problems when I did it.
