Looking at the Apple site to pre-order Tiger, it says in light grey
writing on the r.h. side that "Processor upgrade cards are not supported."
Does anyone know whether this refers to all processor upgrade cards?
I'm currently running in Panther very happily using a G4/1.4 on my

My brother is in Melbourne and told me he had changed the name of his
home folder (which was named "User") by clicking on it in the finder
then typing in his name. He says a few things have gone wacky, such as
his desktop items disappearing.

I have installed 10.3.9 up date and yea I had trouble with Safari but I
fixed that problem.
Now I am having updating troubles with my virus scan Norton's.
Message comes up saying "there  was an error performing the update"
Problem Mounting a USB Hard Disk22 Apr 2005 11:23 GMT4
I've just purchased a portable USB hard disk - although i cant get it
to mount, The driver supplied is in Classic and I'm running OSX. I've
tried downloading a generic driver from Lacie but no luck. I cant even
see the hard disk using the Disk Utility. Any suggestions?

Hi, When I click onto the emac icon I can't see the directory of files on
it. The finder wheel just goes round and round? I am using 10.3.9
Any ideas anyone?
