I have a Quicksilver G4, with the internal Zip drive... which is of no use
to me (I gave up on zip drives as soon as CD burners hit a practical price
point).

If you do a whois on www.itunes.com.au you'll find it was registered by
Apple Computer Australia. But it's not "on-air" yet. Won't be long. :-)

G'day All,
Well, my G4 finally arrived this morning... with any luck I'll be able to
devote some solid time over the weekend to aquaint myself better with Macs.
I have had an G3 iMac here for several months, but to honest I couldnt stand

6Gb IDE QUANTUM Fireball CR series Hard Disc Drive from G3 B&W.
Need to replace electronics to recover data because mine has died!

As a total rookie at this, I am currently wrestling with making an RSS
item visible on a website by an RSS reader. Would someone who regularly
and successfully posts an item to a blog or something similar kindly
send me a copy of one of their small postings (the code) for uploading

I am running 10.3.9 and both Explorer and Safari crash all the time.
they did it a bit with 10.3.8 but worse now.
How do I install backwards to 10.3.7 which was quite stable? Must I
initialize the HD?

iMac DV SE G3 450 Mhz, 80 Gig HD, Pioneer 108 burner in external
firewire enclosure (used patchburn to get it recognised. works like a
charm).

Ok, I know it's the age old question, but how does a current 1.6GHz G5
iMac compare to something like the Dell DimensionTM 4700 with an
"Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 520 with HT Technology (2.80GHz, 1MB L2
Cache, 800MHz FSB)" ?

Does anybody know where I can get one of these at a good price in Sydney or
online?
