Why does Apple stick with a one button mouse?  It is clear to me (as a new
user) that there is extra functionality by holding down the Control key and
clicking the mouse.  Why isn't this simply accessed by a two button mouse?

I have been using my little imac for a while now and I have found it to be
very quite. all can hear is the hard drive do it thing from time to time..
MY question is does the newer macs/apple have Fans.

I have seen two Wallstreet powerbooks and they had different English
keyboards- one had more symbols and an extra key. The other had the
traditional Option, Shift labels, etc. on the keys.
Were they made for different models (eg. 233, 292 mhz))

I noted a couple of posts concerning Suncorp Metway's terms and conditions
so I followed them up.
I e-mailed (apologies to the poster I swiped the third Para from)

I will be spending some time in bed soon, and am looking at getting an
iBook or Powerbook to stop me going nuts.
Can anyone guess at the range of the iBook or P'Book to a DL-link
wireless router in another room ? Currently about 7.5 metres away .

I recently started looking for a good but cheap 17" LCD monitor. Prices
for these seem to range anywhere from about $375 to $450 or so. Most of
them have impressive specs eg 8ms response, 500:1 contrast, 450 cd/m2
brightness.

I have the following parts of my old PB for sale:
- G3 battery, model #M7318. Holds enough charge for 1.5hrs of iTunes mp3
listening and word processing.
- Screen - has some keyboard marks on it but otherwise works perfectly.

Hi Good People,
My background is Windows.  So what utility programmes do I need.  Defrag?
Registry Cleaner?  Internet Privacy Cleaner?  Firewall?  Spyware?  What are
the boot keys that I need to know.  eg how do I boot to Unix, etc

Is there some better way of controlling how the scroll wheel triggers
scrolling within applications ?
If i set the "scrolling speed" option in the system preferences to the
slowest, scrolling in some applications can be painfully tedious,

For the past few days, whenever I login to my account on my emac it
functions as if the CAPS LOCK key is activated, even though it isn't. It
stays that way until I activate and de-activate CAPS LOCK. Any ideas?
