Hello all, thank you all for replying to my last post. I have been using my little imac for a while now and I have found it to be very quite. all can hear is the hard drive do it thing from time to time.. MY question is does the newer macs/apple have Fans.

I have seen two Wallstreet powerbooks and they had different English keyboards- one had more symbols and an extra key. The other had the traditional Option, Shift labels, etc. on the keys. Were they made for different models (eg. 233, 292 mhz))

I recently started looking for a good but cheap 17" LCD monitor. Prices for these seem to range anywhere from about $375 to $450 or so. Most of them have impressive specs eg 8ms response, 500:1 contrast, 450 cd/m2 brightness.

I have the following parts of my old PB for sale: - G3 battery, model #M7318. Holds enough charge for 1.5hrs of iTunes mp3 listening and word processing. - Screen - has some keyboard marks on it but otherwise works perfectly.

For the past few days, whenever I login to my account on my emac it functions as if the CAPS LOCK key is activated, even though it isn't. It stays that way until I activate and de-activate CAPS LOCK. Any ideas? Peter
