Two or three times in the past few weeks I've lost all my bookmarks in

Hi there all,
I'm thinking of getting a powerbook in Melbourne.
I've never owned a Mac before but will make the leap of faith.
Any recommended places to get one from or to avoid?

I am thinking of getting ADSL for my Mac.
I know that there are many ISP's etc, and the choice is hard.
I would just like to know out of curiosity, those  ADSL "kits" that you get

Got my first mac today, and have been tinkering for a while. First question
is how to install apps. Apps i've downloaded seem to be distributed as disk
images. So far i've grabbed mozilla, firefox, gimp and X11, but i'm not
sure about the right place to put the images. The first one ...
