everything out there is for Windows. Is there anyone wants Mac users to

USB keyboard21 Aug 2004 02:05 GMT8
I up-dated to 10.3.5 yesterday.
Then this morning all sorts of strange things started happening: stange
window and icon behaviour, keyboard shortcuts erratic, etc
Of course I suspected 10.3.5 and cursed Apple.

I have several Macs all running 10.2.8 that access a windows 2003 server
using appletalk, we've added a xserve raid box to the server for extra
storage but the machines don't see the volume created but do see the volumes
on the windows server, anyone know what could be causing this. ...

iPhoto Library on PC19 Aug 2004 05:37 GMT5
I have burnt an iPhoto library onto CD to send to relatives overseas, they
use PC's, so I thought I'd test the CD on a PC first.
I try to open the library and get a message "To open this file Windows needs
to know the program that created it etc"

This is really getting up my nose. I have had problems for months now
with various browsers crashing for no apparent reason. Running an oldish
500 MHZ iMac with 768 megs of RAM on 10.3.5 (just did the Combo update).
On a dialup connection usually about 48000bps.
Speakers 4 G5..?17 Aug 2004 01:31 GMT3
Just would like to know , what sort of good speakers  would be good for a G5
with a 23" screen?
I have those "orb" speakers from my G4 cube and they do work (they worked
good with the Cube!), but for the G5 they seem low, not high powered enough.

I'm currently running 10.3.4, and always run Software Update to apply the
latest patches to my Mac.  This morning when I tried to install 10.3.5, I
start the installer, and when I select my hard disk, I get a red exclamation
mark and the following error:

Replacement plug for iBook power supply ?15 Aug 2004 12:05 GMT1
I had a bit of an interesting night last night. For some stupid reason,
I left my iBook sitting on the corner of a coffee table and I did the
unspeakable - I knocked it off on to the floor :-(
As always happens, something got broke - the power plug to my power
