On Monday 10th, I ordered a new 12" PowerBook.  I upped the RAM and the
disk.  Can someone give me a realistic period of how long until I get it?

I'm trying to install an Epson 1640SU scanner on a 15" flat panel iMac.
I'm running 10.2.8.
My problem
1) I can get the OSX Epson Scan application to read the scanner and scan

I have a Beige G3 Mini Tower for sale:
Beige G3 266Mhz
128Meg Ram
3 Gig Hard Drive

While I am still using 8.6 and 9.x, I have been using Netscape
Communicator 4.x (now on the latest 4.8) for years, and like its speed
very much. But as many websites are not compatible with 4.x and earlier,
I have also installed Netscape 7.02, but only the Navigator component

how can I killfile all these porn binaries that are coming up on this
group?

Over the years I have bought many pieces of RAM, many with "lifetime
warranty".
Lately two pieces of my 128-pin EDO have gone faulty, and I can't tell
who should I chase up regarding possible replacement etc.

Hi, I have found a couple of Power and Video PAV boards for my iMac DV
on ebay. They are located in the US. I wonder whether the slot loading
iMac DV 400MHz was configured to automatically detect voltage or were
differrent ones made for different countries?

My DV iMac has died. According to the local apple shop it has a dead
video/powerboard which they say costs around $460 from Apple. So I
wonder whether anyone has one of these lying around from a dead computer
that they'd like to sell for a reasonable price?

Can anyone point me to some (preferably local) hotline sites or trackers?

I have a blue & white desktop G3 and want to buy a DVD Rewritable
burner to suit my machine.
My 2ndhand Mac guy can sell me a new external (I am guessing Firewire)
burner for approx, $440.00.

I am possibly in the market for a Blue and White G3, or a low end G4 tower.
Does anyone know what the going rate is for these models today?
(And I don't want a cheap new eMac, because I already have one and they are
noisy when turned on all day!)

Because the Mac looks like a mutated C64...

I recently put something where it would start up when Mac OSX Panther loads.
The issues is where did I put it cause I can not remember where it went to.
It acts like Startup Folder; not the one in the system preference. If you
could let me know where I can find that it would be ...

There should be a boxful of these salvaged from dead logic boards
somewhere? I just need one!

Am finally taking the plunge to 10.3.3 from 10.1.5.
I remember there are some issues surrounding the upgrade... can anyone
point me toward a reference to get me going?
