I'm trying to install an Epson 1640SU scanner on a 15" flat panel iMac.
I'm running 10.2.8.
My problem
1) I can get the OSX Epson Scan application to read the scanner and scan

Hi, I have found a couple of Power and Video PAV boards for my iMac DV
on ebay. They are located in the US. I wonder whether the slot loading
iMac DV 400MHz was configured to automatically detect voltage or were
differrent ones made for different countries?

My DV iMac has died. According to the local apple shop it has a dead
video/powerboard which they say costs around $460 from Apple. So I
wonder whether anyone has one of these lying around from a dead computer
that they'd like to sell for a reasonable price?

I have a blue & white desktop G3 and want to buy a DVD Rewritable
burner to suit my machine.
My 2ndhand Mac guy can sell me a new external (I am guessing Firewire)
burner for approx, $440.00.

Am finally taking the plunge to 10.3.3 from 10.1.5.
I remember there are some issues surrounding the upgrade... can anyone
point me toward a reference to get me going?
