Re above post about Firewire -> Composite/Svideo... I called Apple Store today. Spoke to some chap who told me that there was an accessory called a "Apple Video Adaptor" that would allow me to connect composite/RCA to an eMac/iMac, and it cost $45.

Yep, looking at those eMacs again Has the price recently dropped a few hundred $?? a) Does Apple's dvd burning software allow for more control over disc duration yet? (ie need to fit at least 2 hrs per disc at vhs quality)
