Nokia 6310i & Bluetooth15 Dec 2003 22:00 GMT1
I am trying to sync via Bluetooth with my Nokia 6310i. I am using the
Dlink adaptor DWB120M with latest BT software (OS 10.3.1.) I can get
them to pair (but seem to need to keep the Bluetooth Setup Application
open to stay paired). Any thoughts on linking with iSync or address

I'm having problems installing Kodak EasyShare software ver 3. After
install, which appears to all go OK, the app quits as soon as I try to
start it.

I'm trying to burn a CD using iTunes 2.0.4, running OS9.2.2. First time
I've tried this. I imported some tracks from another CD-R in AIFF
format, ticked them in the iTunes window - inserted a blank CD-R,
then...what? There's no "burn CD" instruction in the menus or button in

Hey All,
Ok, I am now an official victim of spam. I have somehow been placed on
a damn "MS Security Patch" spam list which means I get between 50 and
100 e-mails from hoax addresses with a 153kb attachment, which is a
iMac going offline?11 Dec 2003 02:52 GMT6
Can anyone help with this please.  I have an iMac connected via ethernet to
a Telstra supplied 4 port ADSL modem, on a 128/528 kbps ADSL service..
I often find that when I go back to the Mac after a time away (anything from
a few minutes to a few hours) the mail program has gone ...

FS: Apple 17" Display (ADC), under warranty.10 Dec 2003 04:10 GMT1
I've recently upgraded my monitor, so it's time to sell my faithful
Apple 17". It's the very last standalone CRT Apple made. It's got the
Apple Display Connector, and is totally clear (ie: NOT one of the
blue/white or graphite/white ones that were so troublesome).

I have a G4 running 9.2.2 with a pretty std. sort of mouse for Peecees -
it's got a scroll wheel and two buttons. I was just wondering if anyone
has got software that will let me use the scroll wheel. I already found
"TheMouse2B" that lets you use the second button.
Putting a fat32 partition on an iPod08 Dec 2003 06:14 GMT12
I was wondering if anyone had tried this. I've got a 40Gb iPod and I
want to create a 2Gb fat32 partition on it, so I can just rock up to any
PC, plug it in with the fw/usb2 -> dock connector cable and use it as a
removable disk without having to install a HFS+ filesystem driver on ...
Basilisk II07 Dec 2003 21:04 GMT6
Probably a longshot, but having been a loyal user of the Macintosh
emulator, Basilisk II, on the Dozer my employer inflicts on me, I've
been wondering if anybody has recently looked into (for want of a
better name) a "Basilisk III" (ie III as in roman 3 for G3) Can't seem
