All of a sudden, my iChat user has stopped working. I fire up iChat
and it tells me I'm on, but none of my logged-in friends can see me
and I can see none of them.
It's an "expired" .mac account (I've never been a .mac member, I

Hi, Back in August 2001, my father & I both bought iBook 500 Dual USB
machines with combo drives. Both these machines have now had their combo
drives fail & I'm wondering if this was a problem with these particular
machines. Has anyone else had these problems?

suburbs.  The dial seems pretty crowded with piss-ant community stations.

remember decoding these things back in '95 but can't remember how.

Hi I installed 10.3
and I have to make a new system, and archive the old OS 10.2
It have left me with a folder in the "Previous system" folder called core
services that I cant delete.

I've got a 7500 with a PowerLogix G3 card in it.
I've tried both the 9.1-to-9.2 update and a full copy of the 9.2.2
Install CD (from a 10.1.3 retail pack) to get my machine to 9.2.2, but
the installers from both the CD and the updater say I "cannot run this

Just installed 10.3 and now when I double click on a PhotoShop file icon, it
will open photo shop, but not the file.
I can still open the file ten from within photocopies open menu... a problem
when items are buried in several folders (that I often leave open on my

Have recently got G4 Powerbook with Panther OSand was trying to use my
Speedtouch USB DSL modem which works fine on my Mac desktop (OS 10.2.8) to
get connected to internet but Speedtouch drivers do not seem to install or
