Years ago I had a small application which worked with the browser to
open random pages on the net. Is there a similar application which will
work with modern systems?

I see that panther is out now and it looks good.
I have noticed that with apple when software comes out like panther it has

One of the ways in which I waste my spare time is archiving
captures from digital TV -- i.e., editing and transcoding
MPEG-2 streams.
At the moment I'm using mencoder on Linux and DivX Pro on Windows

One of our macs has an intermittent problem - it won't boot and shoes a
flashing on and off blue globe icon the same as the network icon in osx.

I am using 10.2.6 and I treid to move folder to a USB  drive. (64mb)
I could not move the folder what so ever, an error kept coming up, but when
I opened that flolder and selected the contents (15 or so jpegs) they where
able to move across.
