It seems that some of my Word documents are infected, and although
it doesn't worry me at all, it seems to annoy people with Windows
machines; so much so that emails with infected Word attachments
are rejected by antivirus software.

Ok finally updated my Mac to a faster better one from the old PowerPC
5200 Series to a 7300/180 Series (sorry love to get the NEW G5 but the
wallet won't allow that (oneday) )

I'm looking for a 68k Mac in good condition. I have an SE/30 which is
on the blink and I need to replace it (or more specifically the Logic
Board). Does anyone have an SE/30 with a healthy logic board they don't
need?

G'Day, pardon my ignorance but I've just got my first machine
with a CD burner.
I got a box of CD-RW, naively assuming that I could use them like
a floppy (copy files, replace files, rsync etc.) Not so, it seems.

I notice in todays Australian that 301 Records, based in Byron Bay, as
of next Monday, will begin selling music over the net at one Aust dollar
per track or $11 for an album to registered users. They use a battery of
Macs of course.

Can anyone tell me how I can download music from audio tapes to a Mac ?
Data: G4 with OS 10.2.6.
I want to preserve some classic stuff before tapes vanish the way of
vinyls.

I am running 10.2.6 and drag and drop has died in every and all function
of my machine.  I have updated the disk permissions but this hasn't
helped.  Any suggestions are much appreciated as this is very pesky.

IE 5.2.3 on OS 10.2.6 is doing something quite strange.  A while back I
unchecked the 'Show Pictures' option in the Web Content section of my IE
preferences so that the pictures would not load to make browsing a bit

I am on Tiscali's DSL.
I can access Tiscali's news server (27K NGs), news.CIS.DFN.DE (less than
23K NGs, need registration) and news.wooow.it (40K NGs, free but
read-only).

I have MYOB V7.5 on my Mac.
I want to move my files onto MYOB v10 on my pc.
Trouble is only MYOB V.8 and above are cross platform compatible.

I have just started using Safari (1.0 v85) as my web browser and I'm
generally fairly happy with its performance and features (particularly
