Numbers Recovered files?01 Sep 2008 00:49 GMT3
Why does "Numbers" create "Recovered files" that go to the Trash folder?
They are "style-thumbail-Basic.tiff" files.
Numbers runs with no problems but files are created
which appear in Trash after the next system start.
Mail Q31 Aug 2008 10:44 GMT34
Hi. I am wondering if there is a way in Mail to jump to the next or
previous message from an e-mail that is currently open.
I couldn't find this feature anywhere.  It seems odd that there is no
way to do it.
Safari 3 on Tiger30 Aug 2008 19:50 GMT11
Does anyone know if the latest/greatest version of Safari 3.1.x will
install and run on a PPC Mac running Tiger 10.4.10.  I know Apple states
that Safari 3 is suitable for 10.4.11 or higher but sometimes system
requirements are set for what an app has been tested under, not
iCab "view source"30 Aug 2008 15:10 GMT2
I distinctly remember on OS 9 in earlier versions of iCab how useful I
found it to press command 8 and get my actual html file that generated a
webpage (this was not on a local server, just URLd straight to the file
on my old Mac). But now that I develop using a local server, the ...
In Photoshop, shift-dragging no longer continues to move brush line29 Aug 2008 23:33 GMT4
In Photoshop CS3, when I hold down the shift key and drag the mouse with
the brush tool selected, the line that I'm drawing no longer continues
to move at the edge of the screen and the blue oval marker at the edge
of my Photoshop file no longer slides toward the edge of the ...
Coda 1.5 released29 Aug 2008 23:14 GMT2
Coda has just had an update to 1.5 :)
If anyone is interested in web-site building/design then I think this
is really an excellent text editor to have a look at.
Editing CSS on it is a joy!

Splip-Splop-Splap == Browser Presentation29 Aug 2008 19:25 GMT44
Yes, I've harped on this before....
To me something exceedingly annoying is that when I opt to go to a website
page Safari (or any other browser with which I am familiar) starts displaying
the various items of the page as they become available, the result being that

iTunes desperation29 Aug 2008 14:53 GMT4
I am desperate. I had to move my entire iTunes library folder from an
external drive that was starting to fail to a new external drive,
changed my library's location in iTunes preferences to the new location
(on the new drive) and then did a "Consolidate library" to move some

not holding a charge.  Let is sit unplugged but off and within 24 hours
Anyone get MT running on 15" MacBook?28 Aug 2008 22:03 GMT20
Trying to run MT-NewsWatcher 3.5.2 on a 15" Intel MacBook.
OS 10.4.8 with no 3rd party app's installed.
MT runs fine on my PPC Macs, but not on my 15" MacBook.
Most irritating thing is that a new empty "untitled" window of my
corrupt media28 Aug 2008 22:01 GMT8
I figure that line ought to get someone to look, at least 8-)
I got really ambitious this morning and started copying some old fotos
from ZIP disks(my G4 can read almost anything) into my master foto
archive on an external HD.  No problem until the last one.  It froze the
Freeware Graphics Editor?28 Aug 2008 21:09 GMT47
Other than The Gimp, is there a simple freeware graphics app for OSX?
I tried a program called Seashore, not bad but I was thinking there may
be something better.  I'm not doing Photoshop level stuff, just things
like arrows and shapes on a jpg.
